“I wanted to let you know that we have been busy working on some more of the things you have taught me. Right after I got back we had a meeting and I shared about the SWOT analysis and the Opportunity cards. My boss has been carrying around the Opportunity Card and writing ideas and opportunities constantly. We are all thinking with a more opportunity-focus.

I shared with my drivers that they represent Baxter Chemical when they are on delivery and how important it is to have great customer service. The next day one of the drivers came in and was dressed very nicely, polo shirt tucked in and nice shorts that matched well. I told him he looked nice and he said “I represent Baxter’s I need to look good”. I thought that was great. You are so right about the positive and how it rubs off.

John, the owner, and I have been talking about one of our key employees; he has tried many different things to motivate him and it just doesn’t seem to work. I gave John your book and workbook and talked to him about hiring someone to “fit” the job based on talents.
