You’ll Love Working Here! 10 Steps to An Amazing Workplace Culture
(Program hosted at SHRM National)
Program Summary:
Employees expect to be supported, valued and respected in the workplace. When this happens, employees bring their best to their work and to customers. When this does not happen, employees disconnect and disengage; their work, customer loyalty and results suffer.
Culture is the summary of expectations and behaviors that define the organization’s values, attitudes and daily processes. We all want to work for an organization whose workplace culture has a clear compelling vision and a plan to achieve it, hires fairly, engages and incentivizes employees, activates employee ownership, respects all people and expects greatness. When an organization provides this level of support and value, employees respond by performing at their best. If not, employees check out or leave.
Program Objectives – this program will introduce:
- How the movement to an intellectual workplace has changed the definition of performance, the value of employees and how workplace culture is now an attraction and retention event.
- The ten components of powerful employee-focused workplace cultures – and how to achieve them.
- How to help your employees feel intellectually, emotionally and personally connected to their work and workspace.
- How to develop a plan to make meaningful changes to your culture that attract and retain A-level employees.
In the age of technology, word gets out quickly about who has and who doesn’t have the best place to work. Workplace culture is the tipping point of all performance. Average performers can improve in a great workplace culture. Exceptional performers shut down in a poor workplace culture. Culture starts it all, or ends it all.
