Workshop 2 – Module 2: Developing an Employee Engagement and Retention Plan –Emotional Connection - Attracting and hiring the right employee is a time consuming and important function of company success. Once A-level employees are hired, it is critical to have a plan to retain them. This module introduces how to connect employees emotionally to their work through creating personalized performance expectations and sculpting employee jobs. These approaches are introduced using the Business Review (Strategic Update) worksheets, Job Sculpting worksheets and Performance Expectation worksheets. The more the employee owns his or her work and works in a truly customized job, the more emotionally connected the employee feels, and the greater the employee performs.
