Workshop 2 – Module 6: Developing an Employee Engagement and Retention Plan The second part of employee engagement and retention addresses the critical personal connection an employee must have with his or her manager, team and workplace. Building a personal bond with employees is critical to discuss daily performance and career development. This module introduces the Performance Feedback Tool and the Career Conversation Worksheets. The more effective, regular and meaningful daily performance feedback is, the more the employee and manager build a strong relationship where they can openly talk about ideas, current performance and long term career direction. This relationship between employee and manager/team significantly impacts employee engagement and loyalty.
